LIITA Care recently had the honour of welcoming Denmark’s Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, Morten Bødskov, during a visit highlighting companies with strong potential within the Danish defence industry.

The visit formed part of the Defence Tech Denmark programme, which supports innovative Danish companies developing technologies for defence and dual-use applications. LIITA Care was recognised for its contribution to solutions that help seek to reduce medical downtime and support personnel performance in demanding operational environments—key elements of Force Health Protection and operational readiness.

Defence Tech Denmark has attracted significant interest across the Danish innovation ecosystem. More than 150 companies applied to join the programme, with 27 selected in the first round, including LIITA Care. The initiative is supported by a national funding commitment of DKK 200 million to help Danish defence technology companies accelerate testing, development, and growth.

Defence Tech Denmark is a collaborative initiative involving EIFO, Industriens Fond, Danish Technological Institute, Technical University of Denmark, Innovation Fund Denmark, and DTU Science Park.

LIITA Care appreciates the visit and the recognition, and looks forward to contributing to the continued strengthening of Denmark’s defence and dual-use innovation ecosystem.
