LIITA Care is committed to developing respiratory care solutions with responsible use of materials, energy and logistics. BREATHOX® is a compact mechanical device designed for repeated use without electricity, batteries, a nebuliser or liquid preparation. Its dry-powder format supports simple use at home, while travelling and in environments with limited infrastructure.
Responsible production
The plastic components used in the BREATHOX® device are produced in Denmark using 100% renewable energy. The product combines a small, multi-dose inhaler with a dry formulation and requires no external equipment during use. LIITA works with its suppliers to maintain product quality while improving resource efficiency throughout production and supply.
Potential to reduce the footprint of respiratory care
Conventional saline formats require water, containers and, in some cases, supporting delivery equipment. BREATHOX® delivers microcrystalline sodium chloride in a compact dry format. At scale, this format has the potential to reduce transport weight, packaging volume and reliance on single-use liquid containers. LIITA will continue to document and improve the environmental performance of the platform as production and international distribution expand.

LIITA Research to be Presented at the ERS Congress 2022
We are proud to announce that our latest scientific discovery was selected by the European Respiratory Society to be presented as Late-Breaking Abstract in the category ‘Best abstracts in COVID-19’ at the forthcoming ERS International Congress in Barcelona.
“We see ERS’ acceptance as an endorsement of our research and the vast treatment potential that the result implies,” says CEO Martin A.
